How often do you hear about someone promoting a low-sugar or low-fat diet that claims to cure all of your health problems? Too often. The truth is, not all sugars and fats are created equal. To achieve optimal health, we need the right kinds of both. Join Ru Liu, M.S., R.D. to learn about the different kinds of sugars and fats, and how low-sugar and low-fat diets affect our bodies.

This is part 2 of 7 sessions in the free, online Autumn Health Picks webinar series brought to you by Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute and University of Illinois Extension. These sessions are designed to educate individuals on a variety of health topics. Pick and choose programs based on your interests.

Webinar participation is free, but registration is required. One may register for any or all of the sessions held on Wednesday afternoons from noon-1:00 p.m. CT. Details about accessing the webinars will be provided after registration.

CEUs and CPDUs are now available!

CEUs are being provided through the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois (CEII). CPDUs are available through the University of Illinois College of Education. We will be collecting CEU/CPDU registrations upfront and sending the participant list to CEII or the University of Illinois College of Education following the program. You must register prior to the program, we will not be taking post-session registrations for CEUs or CPDUs. Please visit our Continuing Education Credits registration to learn more.
