Have you ever left a concert or other loud event with some ringing in your ears? It is estimated that nearly 50 million Americans live with persistent ear ringing—better known as tinnitus. While there are some ways to reduce tinnitus-related distress, there is no cure. Rafay Khan, B.Sc., discusses what we know about tinnitus, what we would like to, the difficulties in studying it, and how we can help those who suffer from it.

This is part 1 of 7 sessions in the Autumn Health Picks free, online webinar series brought to you by Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute and University of Illinois Extension. These sessions are designed to educate individuals on a variety of health topics. Pick and choose programs based on your interests.

Webinar participation is free, but registration is required. One may register for any or all of the sessions held on Wednesday afternoons from noon-1:00 p.m. CT. Details about accessing the webinars will be provided after registration.

CEUs and CPDUs are now available!

CEUs are being provided through the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois (CEII). CPDUs are available through the University of Illinois College of Education. We will be collecting CEU/CPDU registrations upfront and sending the participant list to CEII or the University of Illinois College of Education following the program. You must register prior to the program, we will not be taking post-session registrations for CEUs or CPDUs. Please visit our Continuing Education Credits registration to learn more.
