This virtual Community Medical School event, co-hosted by the Carle Illinois College of Medicine and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, will discuss Primary Care: The Key to Wellness and Prevention.
A panel of primary care experts that include Stephanie "Tess" Bailey, Sally Salmons, Simone Hampton and Jo Ann Archey will discuss primary care and its benefits, why everyone should have a primary care provider, what barriers people may have, and common primary care topics such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and wellness.
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in question and answer sessions with Drs. Bailey, Salmons, Hampton and Archey. The two-hour event is free and open to the public.
