Join us to learn about the HDFS 379 Service Learning, Child, Family, Health and Agriculture Winter Break Program in South Africa! The program is open to students in ANY MAJOR! 

The study abroad program to Cape Town will feature cultural/historical tours and engagement with local community organizations.  Students will get an introduction to South African history, politics, and legacy of apartheid. Witness first-hand the role of youth in liberation struggle, post-apartheid society, families and children; educational policy, family dynamics, post-apartheid challenges: HIV/AIDS, poverty, crime, and community resiliency; health and food security.
