Our always-popular Irish Fest returns with plenty of festive fun on Friday, Aug. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. on the Gatehouse Lawn. This outdoor concert will feature Springfield-area band Skibbereen, as well as Character Fleadh, which performs Irish and Scottish traditions, Chicago-style. This event is part of the Allerton Park Concert Series presented by Cim-Tek Filtration, with monthly concerts through Sept. 5.
Food will be available to purchase from: Daro Coffee Co., Jimmy John’s, Burrito King, Greenhouse Cafè, Mini Bronuts and Cousins Maine Lobster. In addition, the Greenhouse Cafè will be open in the Greenhouse until 7 p.m.
A bar will be available. Attendees may also bring their own food, but no outside alcohol is permitted.
$5/person or $10/family, payable upon arrival. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets.
