Students from all walks of life experience difficulties that can lead to excessive stress and other adverse effects. As a result, students’ performance (academic, social, and much more) deteriorates. Self-care becomes a necessity to overcome these hurdles and transform the student from a position of difficulty to a position of empowerment. Counseling Center staff will share some practical, hands-on exercises of self-care that can also become tools for self-empowerment.
