How do international students navigate the American English, socially and academically? American greetings, communication styles, norms, attitudes, etiquette, etc. can sometimes be challenging for international students who may not be too familiar with American culture.
In this interactive event, the International Student Outreach Team from the Counseling Center will offer examples that portray differences in communication styles in the US and what international students can expect. Discussion around strategies to cope with such potential stress is also encouraged.
