Mumble is the only Emperor penguin chick in Antarctica who knows how to dance, but can’t sing. He is banished by the elders, who think his dancing is responsible for their shortage of fish. He is adopted by five fun-loving Argentinian Adelie penguins and goes on a series of adventures before finding his way back home. This film represents a commentary on urban co-existence between African American and Latinx as well as providing an environmental message.
