Volunteers are needed to assist with various tasks, including assisting with entry (supporting DIA Event staff by encouraging students to social distance and scanning IDs), concessions (assist vendors with distributing food and drinks) and ushers (assisting students with finding their seats and reminding them to social distance as needed).The night has been divided into two shifts. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for both if they want to be there all night (it is a good time). Roles will be assigned that night based on needs. Volunteers will be required to have “building access granted” on the Safer Illinois App and wear a face covering.
Events are Fridays/Saturdays starting at 8pm. You can enjoy the fun, after your volunteer shift concludes.
This is a great opportunity for groups, but individuals are also welcomed. Only one person from the group needs to contact Dr. Hintz with inquiries on how to volunteer/sign-up. Weekend opportunities last through Saturday, October 17, 2020.
