Join City Year for an info session to explore City Year’s gap year experience—an opportunity to make an impact, grow as a leader, and build real-world skills. Serve as a full-time tutor and near-peer mentor for an academic school year while receiving financial support, an education award, and graduate school benefits. Now recruiting for the 2026–2027 academic year—come see if City Year is right for you!


 

City Year will be hosting TWO info sessions at 4 pm and 5 pm, so feel free to pop in at anytime. 

When: Wednesday, February 25th from 4-6 pm.

Where: Gregory Hall, Room 111

Our Student Success Coach Role

  • 🗓️ Monday–Friday at one school during instructional hours
  • ⏰ 45–50 hours/week of 1:1 tutoring, small group support, whole-class assistance, and after-school programming
  • ✏️ Tutor in English Language Arts OR Math/Science (you choose!)
  • Work with students in 3rd–10th grade (you choose the grade level)
  • Support students’ academic success, social-emotional learning, and attendance
