As a Forefront Research Coordinator, Sarah aids Members, staff, and the general public in conducting research and utilizing the Library’s resources. Her work also entails organizing Forefront’s archives and managing the Library website. Additionally, she presents workshops and creates tools and research guides for Forefront’s educational programming. Most recently Sarah worked at Triton College as a reference librarian. Prior experience includes serving as Outreach and User Experience Librarian at Sullivan University, and overseeing library services as the manager of Strayer University’s Learning Resource Center. Sarah has a bachelor’s in English from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Kentucky. Sarah is a member of the Forest Park Historical Society and the League of Women Voters.
Pamela Salela is faculty at UIS in the Library. She has an M.A. in Educational Policy Studies from UIUC and an M.S. from the iSchool at UIUC. She has been the coordinator of the Central Illinois Nonprofit Resource Center since 2005.
