Nicholas Malaki Crayton is an author, motivational speaker, social entrepreneur, and mentor. He holds a master’s degree in theology and his third book, "The Redemptive Analysis," is about to be published.

Kira Kyle teaches entrepreneurship to people in prison and manages Defy's prison entrepreneurship programs across Illinois, including men's and women's facilities. With a background in education, Kira spent most of her professional life in graphic design and web design, including six years running a professional photography studio. She also worked in radio for 6 years, hosting a daily on-air program in addition to her graphic design, social media, and website responsibilities. She has done work for several nonprofits over the past decade. Her current work combines her skills as an educator and communicator with her experience starting several small businesses. She is also a mom of four, including one student currently attending the University of Illinois.
