The 2017 College of Law Convocation will be held in the Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on May 13 at 5-6:30 p.m.

Convocation Reception
6:30 - 7:30 pm
Law Building, Peer and Sarah Pedersen Pavilion
Faculty, graduates, family, and friends are invited to the College of Law for a reception and light refreshments directly following the Convocation Ceremony.  Free parking is available at the meters on Peabody and Pennsylvania Avenues, and at University lots surrounding the Law Building.  No registration required.

Parking at Krannert
Parking is available in the Krannert Center garage, in metered spaces on nearby streets, and in permit lots (with the exception of 24-hour rental spaces) during commencement weekend. Please be sure to allow enough time to find parking since there are multiple convocation ceremonies on Saturday.

Individuals needing accommodations for graduation weekend are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.

University-wide Commencement
Saturday, May 13 at 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m at Memorial Stadium. Graduates are encouraged to participate in the commencement ceremony with graduate and undergraduate students from various colleges throughout the university. Please visit the university-wide Commencement website for additional information regarding the university-wide ceremony, including registration information.

Ticket Information
Tickets will be required for the College of Law Convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 13. In addition to prior distribution dates and times, tickets will also be available on May 13 prior to the ceremony beginning at 4 p.m. at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts ticket counter. Please rest assured there will be plenty of tickets for all attendees.

Convocation Announcements
Personalized graduation announcements may be purchased through the Illini Union Bookstore, online through Herff Jones, and through local bookstores and copy shops. For more information on announcements please visit the university-wide Commencement website.

Academic Attire
All graduates and degree candidates participating in Commencement or Convocation ceremonies are required to wear appropriate academic attire. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduates wear custom regalia designed specifically for the campus. Academic Attire is available for rent through Herff Jones

Students may place orders for academic regalia online beginning January 16, 2017. The last date to order academic regalia online is April 13. Limited late orders will be accepted following April 13 for an additional fee.

JD and JSD Students: Doctorate
LLM and MSL Students: Masters

Accessibility and Shuttle Transportation
The 2017 College of Law Convocation will be held in the Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts (KCPA). Information regarding accessibility and resources for guests with disabilities or mobility concerns is available directly from KCPA. Shuttle Bus Service Available During Commencement Weekend
A Commencement shuttle will be available during Commencement weekend to transport graduates and their guests to Convocation locations across campus. For more information, please visit the Commencement website.
