Through didactic instructions, PowerPoint presensation, and simulated case scanerios, nurses will develop skills to assess newborn respiratory, cardiovascular, integumentary, gastriointestinal, digestive, immune and nervous systems. They will be educated on normal newborn findings for each system thus alerting them to potential complications.
