India's Independence & Partition saw horrific violence unsettling the entire region. Bengal was divided into West Bengal (India) and East Pakistan based on territorial religious majority. The forced migration, trauma and displacement of millions call for postcolonial interventions. Academic discourses on partition of a fragmented Bengal has been few and far between. How can we best understand and learn from the ferocity of history when the Radcliffe Line was drawn?
