This panel will focus on the importance of self-care as women take up much of the burden of caring for others. The panel will include strategies to alleviate much of the emotional and physical pain you may be experiencing. We will also hear from Healing to Action Director Karla Altmayer as they discuss how they have continued to organize and educate against gender violence in our communities. UIUC faculty Dr. Stephanie Fortado will facilitate the discussion and Q&A.
