Letters to the Editor: Making Your Voice Heard on Issues that Matter to Workers

Now more than ever, union members and leaders need to make their voices heard on issues that matter to working families. This class will cover strategies for writing effective letters to the editor and how to get your letter published.  During the first session we cover strategies for writing effective Letters to the Editor.  As a homework assignment, students will draft their own letters on a topic of their choosing.  During the second class we will review and collectively edit the letters to get them ready for potential submission.
