The Central Asia Research Forum seeks to bring together scholars in the arts and humanities, life, physical, and the social sciences to discuss ongoing projects, as well as completed scholarly works on Central Asia, its history, environment, and peoples at this multidisciplinary research forum. The theme for the inaugural forum is: Publishing and Book Culture. Some of the focus areas to be addressed in this forum include:
- Publishing Cultures
- Language, Literacy, and Literature
- Minority and Indigenous Memory Institutions
- Cooperative Scholarly Initiatives
Participants are welcome to present in any language, but we ask participants provide an accompanying English translation of their remarks.
The forum will be held on November 4-5, 2021. Those interested in presenting should upload an abstract by October 28, 2021. Zoom details will be shared after registration.
