This virtual class offers to help prepare the participant to attempt the NCC RNC-EFM testing.
The learning objectives for this program include:
- Understand the proper use of EFM equipment & troubleshooting techniques
- Understand the maternal-fetal physiology and factors affecting fetal oxygenation
- Distinguish & interpret normal and abnormal FHR tracings along with appropriate interventions
- Identify antepartum fetal testing methods
- Recognize professional issues related to EFM practice
Criteria for Successful Completion: Participants who successfully attend the entire activity, complete a pre-test and post-test, and complete an evaluation form will earn 7.5 contact hours.
