The learning objectives for this program include:

  1.  Understand the proper use of EFM equipment & troubleshooting techniques
  2. Understand the maternal-fetal physiology and factors affecting fetal oxygenation
  3. Distinguish & interpret normal and abnormal FHR tracings along with appropriate interventions
  4. Identify antepartum fetal testing methods
  5. Recognize professional issues related to EFM practice

Criteria for Successful Completion: Participants who successfully attend the entire activity, complete a pre-test and post-test, and complete an evaluation form will earn 7.5 contact hours.
