This is an advanced course to assist the nurse eligible for certification by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) to prepare and sit for the Maternal Newborn or Inpatient Obstetrics Examination. Proof of NCC exam registration is required at start of class.

- September 9 & 10 for Maternal Newborn
- September 9, 10 & 16 for In-patient OB
Contact Hours: The February activity has been awarded contact hours by the Ohio Nurses Association: Days 1 & 2 = 14.0 hours; Day 3 = 7.0 hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91). The September course CE’s will be applied for with more information to come.

Criteria for successful completion and receipt of contact hours for this educational activity includes: 1) Learner’s verification of attendance, 2) Learners attending the entire program & participating in all activities, 3) Learn submitting a completed evaluation form at the end of the program.
