In this series of Writers Workshop grammar workshops, we will review important grammar concepts and apply them to your own writing. Sign up for just one or all five to hone your English grammar skills!
In this workshop, we will look into using different English tenses to achieve different rhetorical effects and discuss how different voices are considered to be appropriate in different disciplinary writings and forms of expression.
This event will be held in-person at the School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics (SLCL) in conference room 4080A. It is open to current University of Illinois affiliates (students, faculty, and staff).
