Most of us rely on visual content and resources in the classroom and online, but how can we be sure our classes are engaging and accessible for students with visual disabilities? In this fun and interactive workshop we’ll explore the benefits of universal design to improve student learning, and work in groups to modify common course materials and make them more accessible. Bring your laptop and any course materials including syllabus, documents, power point slides, and websites. Be prepared to download useful apps; all other handouts and resources provided. This workshop counts toward CITL teaching certificates.
