The UIUC Student Chapter of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) is organizing a seminar in remembrance of St. Elmo Brady, UIUC's first Black Chemistry PhD. We are excited to welcome alumni Dr. Uzoma Nwabara on Thursday, November 6th for her lecture entitled, "Discovering oxygen evolution catalysts via high-throughput experimentation". Supported by the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Department of Chemistry, and the School of Chemical Sciences, NOBCChE is excited to present the Fall 2025 St. Elmo Brady Lecture Series. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome – you do not have to be a NOBCChE member to attend or participate!
