Poster for the St. Elmo Brady Lecture Series hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign NOBCChE Student Chapter. The event is supported by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, the Department of Chemistry, and the School of Chemical Sciences. The lecture, titled “Discovering oxygen evolution catalysts via high-throughput experimentation,” will be presented by Dr. Uzoma Nwabara from the UL Research Institutes - Materials Discovery Research Institute. The event takes place on Thursday, November 6th, from 2:00–3:00 PM in room CLSL-B102. The poster includes a QR code with the text “Learn more here!” and a smiling portrait of Dr. Nwabara. The design features a brown and gold background with science-themed graphics and the NOBCChE periodic-style logo.

The UIUC Student Chapter of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) is organizing a seminar in remembrance of St. Elmo Brady, UIUC's first Black Chemistry PhD. We are excited to welcome alumni Dr. Uzoma Nwabara on Thursday, November 6th for her lecture entitled, "Discovering oxygen evolution catalysts via high-throughput experimentation".  Supported by the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Department of Chemistry, and the School of Chemical Sciences, NOBCChE is excited to present the Fall 2025 St. Elmo Brady Lecture SeriesAll students, faculty, and staff are welcome – you do not have to be a NOBCChE member to attend or participate!
