Speaker Bio

Shreya Raghavan
Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering
Texas A&M University

Research interests: cancer tissue engineering, immunology, mechanobiology, stem cells, biomaterials

Shreya Raghavan explores engineered microtissues and microenvironments to study how stem cells and immune cells interact, leading to the spread of cancer or regenerative healing. Her lab studies how cancers evade immune detection using the architecture or mechanics of tissues in the body. Her approaches integrate mechanobiology, biomaterials, and microenvironment engineering to ask questions that intersect the stem cell/immune axis.
