Are you starting a job search this spring? In need of a fresh start on your current search? You're not the only one! The Job Search Support Group is an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to share experiences, ask questions, and bounce ideas off both peers and career advisors about the job search process.
The first meeting of Job Search Support Group will be held from 4:00 – 5:30 pm on Thursday, February 4. Future sessions will meet at the same time every other Thursday throughout the semester. All meetings will be held through Zoom at https://go.grad.illinois.edu/JobSearchGroup. No registration is required. Participants can join at any time. Attend one, some, or all sessions!
Some group meetings may focus on specific aspects of the job search (application materials, strategy, interviewing, and networking), but all sessions will have dedicated time for open discussion and Q&A. Participants will help direct and guide which topics we focus on throughout the semester.
