Title: “Generative AI Benchmarking Study: How Are CU Businesses Adopting GenAI?”

Generative AI is transforming industries, but how are businesses within the Champaign-Urbana community actually adopting it? This talk presents key findings from a recent survey of regional companies, exploring their familiarity with Generative AI, current adoption levels, governance policies, investment trends, workforce readiness, and perceived benefits and risks. We’ll discuss the main barriers businesses face, the tools they use, and how AI is shaping their operations. Whether you’re a researcher, practitioner, or just curious about AI’s real-world impact, this session will provide valuable insights into the evolving landscape of AI adoption in business.

Welcome to "Working with AI" - a meetup group for anyone in the Champaign-Urbana area interested in exploring the exciting field of Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications. Our group aims to provide a platform for learning, networking, and collaboration among individuals and organizations working with AI or looking to get started in this field. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about AI, including students, professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts. Whether you're just starting or have years of experience working with AI, this group is for you. Our primary goal is to foster a community of AI enthusiasts and experts where we can share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaborate on AI-related projects. We aim to cover a broad range of topics related to AI, including machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, and more.
