Join us on Tuesday, June 11 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM for "The Do's and Don'ts of Business Etiquette" with Patricia Simpson in the EnterpriseWorks Atrium.

Employers spend millions of dollars on advertising, training, and customer service, yet a lack of professionalism and etiquette by employees can sabotage all of that. This talk will demonstrate how we expose our weaknesses when we fail to use proper etiquette. However, rather than merely sharing a long list of rules to memorize, this webinar teaches how the use of good etiquette and respect for others and yourself can be a true game changer for your team. Participants will learn how to make a positive and professional first impression, to use appropriate communication skills that convey courtesy and respect for teammates, and more, through nuggets of wisdom interspersed with humorous true stories.

Topics Covered:

  • What it means to ‘be professional’
  • How to make a positive and professional impression on others
  • Communication is a vital piece of the image you present
  • …and more!

All Research Park events are free; however, registration is required to ensure that we have adequate seating and food for all participants: https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/91567753
