Join the Data Science User Group from 12-1PM on Friday, November 5.
For our November meetup, we are excited to welcome Foteini Zampati, who is a legal professional with almost 20 years of experience. She holds an LLB in Law and LLM in European Union and Business Law. Foteini will be discussing data governance issues in digital agriculture. The presentation will focus on farmers’ perspective and how they could actively participate in a more equitable data sharing and exchange in the agri-food value chain by contributing to the design of a fairer data governance framework. The meetup will be hosted online via Zoom (https://illinois.zoom.us/j/92602473524?pwd=cExZQVN6UHFxVU1UR0Zad2JPaHZtQT09). Please RSVP for the event at the CU-DSUG Meetup Page.
The aim of the user group is to build a community of interest around data science to foster learning, collaboration, and networking. The group will serve both students and professionals to bridge the gap between the analytical sciences and practical applications of industry.
Anyone is invited and included, from undergraduate students (or younger!) to seasoned professionals. There is no requirement for admission, only an interest in learning more about data science.
