Join author Patti McCracken as she discusses her first book, The Angel Makers: Arsenic, a Midwife, and Modern History's Most Astonishing Murder Ring, which tells the story of the so-called Angel Makers of Nagyrev, Hungary. These women rid themselves of abusive relatives by spooning doses of arsenic into their soups and beverages, leading one of the largest murder rings ever recorded.
