This talk by Anna Kornbluh, Professor of English at University of Illinois, Chicago, will make a case for aesthetic culture (literature, film, the visual arts) as essential for thinking about the climate crisis. This is the keynote address for the "Capitalism, Climate, and Cultural Study" symposium, which will take place the following day (Friday, September 29, from 9:30AM to 3:30PM).
