CHERYL STERLING, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English and African Studies at Penn State University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and is the editor of a Special Issue of WAGADU Journal (Winter 2017). Along with numerous articles, her publications include: Transnational Trills in the Africana World (Cambridge SP 2019); Transnational Africana Women Fiction (Routledge 2022c). Dr. Sterling is currently working on two book projects.
