Percussionist Eric Binder, an alumnus of the University of Illinois jazz program, currently performs and teaches in Chicago. He has written several percussion method books and recently released his third album, Bop Culture. This event kicks off the CU Jazz Festival, which runs throughout Champaign-Urbana until Sunday, October 30.
