Join us for the College of Education's Engaged at Illinois Series. This month, the Education Justice Project's Rebecca Ginsburg will share the work being done by EJP with a video release and panel discussion. EJP is a vibrant community of incarcerated students, educators, formerly incarcerated individuals, and others who are committed to a more just and humane world. They provide quality post-secondary education within prisons.
During the discussion, Professor Ginsburg will be joined by three Education Justice Project alumni: Spankey Davis, Cragg Hardaway, and Emmett Sanders.
Participants will view a pre-recorded video feature on EJP followed by a guided discussion and panel conversation. The Engaged at Illinois Series is designed to bring campus and community members together for a deeper understanding of public engagement activities in the College of Education.
This event is co-sponsored by the Humanities Research Institute and the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute.
