This presentation discusses the basics of quality and reliability in the setting of the power electronics firm SynQor – an enterprise that has designed and manufactured over 30 million power electronic products during nearly 20 yearlong existence. The costs and benefits associated with the achievement of very high levels of quality and reliability are discussed. Specific focus is devoted to the values created for both the company and its customers. Some insights into the achievement of high quality and reliability indicate that the process heavily relies on feedback and continual improvement.
