This event will be a discussion of CHP alumnus Eboo Patel’s book Acts of Faith. This book is mostly about his time at the U of I, his life in Allen Hall, and his developing sense of his own identity during that time. His work has led to the creation of the UI chapter of Interfaith in Action, which is part of the Interfaith Youth Core, the national organization that he established. [This program is being offered in conjunction with events sponsored by the Campus/Community Interfaith Oversight Committee.]
Dr. Eboo Patel is a University of Illinois alum, a CHP alumnus, a former Rhodes Scholar, and Founder and President of Interfaith Youth Core.
