Two main components of the Fulbright application are the Statement of Grant Purpose and the Personal Statement. In the context of an ETA application, these statements should work together to paint a picture of a motivated and prepared applicant who has concrete ideas for bringing their unique perspective to bear on their pedagogical practices.
In this workshop, we’ll show students how best to approach each statement, how to present their project in the most direct, concrete, and convincing way possible, and how to present themselves as the ideal Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
