Join the Data Science User Group on Friday, April 7 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Learn more about the Data Science User Group hereThe aim of the user group is to build a community of interest around data science to foster learning, collaboration, and networking. The group will serve both students and professionals to bridge the gap between the analytical sciences and practical applications of industry.

For our April meetup, we are excited to welcome students from the Gies College of Business Disruption Lab.  The student groups will be presenting on projects that they have been working on this year -- including AI essay generation using natural language processing, a reinforcement learning system for optimal battery charging, and a cannabis sales data analysis project with the state of Illinois.  Come to hear about the innovative work that the students are doing and learn how data is powering their different use cases.

If you are planning to attend in person, please fill out this form (link) by Thursday, April 6th @ noon so we can have an accurate headcount for food.  The meetup will continue to be hosted online via Zoom (link) for those of you who will be attending remotely.  Whether you are attending in person or virtually, please RSVP for the event at the CU-DSUG Meetup Page.

Again, attendees can RSVP on the Meetup page to attend the event in-person or virtually, but you must register at this link to reserve lunch. .

Interested in joining other peer-sharing groups about tech and entrepreneurialism? Be sure to check-out our other monthly meetup groups here.
