The quest to build driverless cars is the moonshot of this century. In this SEE presentation, we will take a tour of a future museum of science and technology showing breakthroughs that allowed people in the early 21st century to dream about the self-driving utopia. During the tour we will also catch glimpses of areas under heavy construction---ongoing research and open problems that have to be solved---for the driverless future to pan out.
