This week’s Microbe Monday features Wei Qin, assistant professor of microbiology, and Izan Chalen Paredes, whose doctoral work in Adrienne Antonson’s lab examined how maternal immune and microbial environments influence fetal brain development. Qin will share research on nitrifying microorganisms and their roles in the nitrogen cycle and environmental change.
