Research Resource Forum: Navigating Research Support in LAS

Join the LAS Office of Research for an overview of the services, people, and processes that support research development and administration across the College. This session will introduce the LAS research team, highlight key areas of support, and provide practical guidance on how to engage with our office throughout the lifecycle of a project—from early-stage idea development to proposal submission and award management.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of who to contact and when, what services are available, and how to effectively access support. The session will also outline coordination between LAS and Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) during proposal preparation and submission, helping to demystify roles and timelines across units.

In addition, we will share core resources for policies, compliance guidance, and best practices, equipping attendees with tools to navigate research requirements with confidence. The event will conclude with time for discussion and questions, offering an opportunity to connect directly with the LAS research team and peers.
