Neutrinos play an important role in determining the evolution of massive stars. They also serve as one of the most important messengers that may directly probe the properties of hot & dense matter in the interior region of core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe) and binary neutron star mergers.
In this talk, I will introduce our recent works that aim to constrain the properties of neutrino-dense matter reactions by using terrestrial nuclear experiments and ab-initial many-body calculations. Based on that, the influence of microscopic neutrino reactions on the explosion of CCSNe will be briefly discussed. I will then discuss the multi-messenger analysis of CCSNe, where the neutrino and gravitational wave signals are jointly used to constrain the properties of asymmetric explosion and quark-hadron phase transitions that may appear in the inner region of CCSNe.
