I will present on my dissertation research in which I study the properties of charm-meson (D's, X(3872) and Tcc+(3875)), in an expanding pion bath. Such an environment is expected to be produced in heavy-ion collisions. The exotic hadron X(3872) is a remarkable example of a loosely bound charm-meson molecule, with a binding energy <1 MeV, but yet has been observed in heavy-ion collision in environments where the temperatures are in excess of 100 MeV. We show that in a particular limit, we can account for the survival of the X. We also find that the commonly assumed relations for charm-meson between freeze-out and detection/reconstruction need to be modified.
