Urbana Campus Research Calendar (OVCRI)

Find balance in the midst of final papers and exams by attending the International and Area Studies Library’s International Poetry Night. To kickoff the evening, we will have a rap performance by Stuckey, also known as Dr. Reuben A. Buford May, Professor and Department Head of Sociology at UIUC. After his performance, Stuckey will give a brief overview of his creative process, and there will be time for participants to work on poems that they would like to present to the audience. We encourage participants to present poems in their native language/the original language of the poem. Attendees are also welcome to bring a favorite poem to present to the audience. Light refreshments will be served.
