Drawing on a multi-year study funded by the National Science Foundation, this talk will explore approaches to organizational change to create greater equity and inclusion in the academy. While the emphasis will be on advancing gender equity, the strategies are applicable when addressing the intersection of gender with other identities, such as race and ethnicity. The session will emphasize taking a systemic and strategic approach to organizational transformation in higher education.
