The goal of this half-day workshop is to help participants gain the theoretical background and applied skills to be able to address interesting research questions focused on longitudinal development using latent class and latent profile analysis. This workshop will focus on repeated measures latent class/profile analysis and latent transition analysis, as well as comparisons of these models to latent growth curve models and growth mixture models. Participants will become familiar with introductory and advanced latent transition analysis concepts covered in the recent book coauthored by Drs. Linda Collins and Stephanie Lanza and published by Wiley, Latent class and latent transition analysis: With applications in the social, behavioral, and health sciences. Participants must have working knowledge of basic latent class and latent profile analysis, but access to software is unnecessary for this workshop

If participants did not attend our previous workshop, "Introduction to Latent Class and Latent Profile Analysis,” a recording is available to view at any time.
