The goal of this half-day workshop is to help participants understand how to program basic latent class and latent profile models in SAS, Mplus, and Latent Gold. Participants will learn how to fit “baseline” models (i.e., without any auxiliary variables), models with a grouping variable (including with and without measurement invariance), and models with covariates. Approaches to checking model identification and to significance testing for model selection will also be discussed. Participants must have working knowledge of basic latent class and latent profile analysis, as well as access to at least one software package that will fit latent class/profile models (SAS, Mplus, or Latent Gold). Note that Stata and R will not be supported during this workshop.

If participants did not attend our previous workshop, "Introduction to Latent Class and Latent Profile Analysis,” a recording is available to view at any time.
