Illinois State Water Survey events

The Illinois State Water Survey traces its start to 1895 when the Illinois legislature appropriated $5,000 to the University of Illinois, earmarking $4,000 to study the state's water supply. Since then, the Water Survey has been a leader in the study of water resources, weather, and climate.

Join us as we commemorate the Water Survey's 125th anniversary. The survey's expert staff will present posters and give presentations that provide a snapshot of the current state of water, weather, and climate in Illinois, as well as the data, services, and resources the Water Survey provides that help address challenges and support Illinois communities.

Doors open at 1 p.m. for a poster session, and presentations are from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Refreshments will be served.
