This event is an opportunity for faculty, students, and community members to eat, drink, make connections, and discuss questions such as:
How has human life been changed by the internet, social media, and the rise of AI?
Has digital life been corrosive to our politics and our media environment? Does it have to be?
How are advances in AI changing medicine, journalism, science, and more? How can universities respond to these changes?
Do we need the humanities in an increasingly digital world?
How can we live well, and design tools that contribute to genuine human flourishing, in a world shaped by digital technology?
Complimentary beer, wine, and light snacks will be provided.
