This event is an opportunity for faculty, students, and community members to eat, drink, make connections, and discuss questions such as:
  • How has human life been changed by the internet, social media, and the rise of AI?
  • Has digital life been corrosive to our politics and our media environment? Does it have to be?
  • How are advances in AI changing medicine, journalism, science, and more? How can universities respond to these changes?
  • Do we need the humanities in an increasingly digital world?
  • How can we live well, and design tools that contribute to genuine human flourishing, in a world shaped by digital technology?
Complimentary beer, wine, and light snacks will be provided.
