Coffee Across Cultures Hour is a monthly gathering that brings people together over coffee, tea, and pastries to explore global traditions and the diverse ways communities connect through shared rituals. Each session centers on a unique theme that opens space for conversation, storytelling, and cross-cultural exchange, celebrating the richness of perspectives and practices from around the world.
The topic for our first coffee hour of the semester is "Seasonal Celebrations Around the World." This warm welcome-back session will explore how different cultures mark seasonal transitions: winter festivals, New Year traditions, lantern festivals, solstice celebrations, and other holidays observed during this time of year. Participants can share memories, stories, and customs that bring meaning to the season. Free and open to all!
